Where we stand
We want every part of this site to work for you: reading what is in the bar, picking your dog's size, starting the trial, and canceling it. That includes people using a keyboard only, a screen reader, voice control, a magnifier, or a browser set up to cut down on motion.
We are not finished, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. This page says what we have done, what we know is still wrong, and how to reach us when the site gets in your way.
The standard we aim for
We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. That is our target, not a claim of conformance. We have not published an independent audit of this site, so we will not tell you we meet the standard. If that changes, this page changes with it.
What we have built in so far
- A keyboard path through the purchase. Choosing a size, opening the cart and moving on to checkout are reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Spoken status, not just visual status. Things that change on the page without a reload — the cart, form errors, sections opening and closing — are announced to assistive technology rather than only appearing on screen.
- Text alternatives. Images that carry meaning have alternative text. Images that are purely decorative are hidden from screen readers instead of being read out.
- Visible focus. When you tab through the page, where you are stays visible.
- Reduced motion is respected. If your device or browser asks for reduced motion, the site holds back its animation.
These are build decisions, not test results. We have not published a conformance report and do not want to imply that we have one.
What we know is not good enough yet
- Content embedded from other companies. Parts of the page are served by third parties. We do not write their markup and cannot guarantee it behaves for your assistive technology.
- Checkout and your account. Checkout, and the customer account where you skip or cancel, run on Shopify's software, not ours. We can report problems there and we do — we cannot fix them ourselves.
- The parts nobody has looked at recently. The site is small but it changes often, and a change can break something that worked last month.
Tell us what blocked you
If something on this site stopped you — a control you could not reach, text your screen reader skipped, contrast you could not read, a form that would not submit — tell us. Use the contact form at leopluslou.com/pages/contact.
What helps us most: the page you were on, what you were trying to do, and the browser, device and assistive technology you use. We reply within five business days.
You can also write to us at krisztian.varga@voube.studio. There is no support phone line, so one of those two is not the slow route — it is the route.
If the site will not work for you, we will do it with you
You should not have to fight a website to buy a dog bar, or to stop one arriving. Send us a message through the contact form saying what you want to do — start the 7-day trial, change size, skip a delivery, cancel — and your dog's weight if you are ordering. We will complete it with you by email.
The terms and prices are the same either way: nothing costs more because you needed help to place it. This route is limited to the countries we can deliver to; the list is in our Shipping Policy.
If you are canceling inside the 7-day trial and the site is the reason you cannot do it online, say so in the message. We would rather sort that out than argue about a deadline afterwards.
